The Blues have been banned from registering players for two consecutive transfer windows for 29 incidences of breaching article 19, which relates to the transfer of players aged under 18.

The incumbent Italian enjoyed a fine start to life in west London but has overseen an alarming dip in form that sees Chelsea sit sixth in the Premier League, one point from the Champions League places.

The probe from FIFA analysed more than 100 transfers carried out by the club, with Chelsea also fined £460,000 and given three months to address the issues highlighted.
FIFA also handed a £390,000 fine to the Football Associan for failing to police the recruitment of young players at a club under their jurisdiction.
