Lynx Entertainment artiste Kuami Eugene has made an appearance on the latest edition of BBC News’ Focus on Africa.
The ‘Angela’ hitmaker sharing snippets of his interview on social media expressed his excitement at such an opportunity to put Ghanaian music on the world map.
”I’ve always wanted to do my best to put our music on the map and I’m glad it’s gradually coming to pass”, he wrote.
Speaking to the BBC’s Yvette Twagiramariya, he revealed that the highest point of his music career so far was when he was crowned the Artiste of the Year at the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards
In the video, Kuami Eugene disclosed that his musical journey has been inspired by some legends such as Amakye Dede, Daddy Lumba and Kojo Antwi.
Kuami Eugene explained that Ghanaians listen to Afrobeats but they are made of Hiplife and Highlife music.
