NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman, Mr Bernard Antwi Bosiako aka Chairman Wontumi has subtly rejected Nana Ama Mcbrown’s tearful apology to him.
Mcbrown became the topic of the day after she was heavily criticised for allowing Afia Schwarzenegger to disrespect the politician on her entertainment show, United Showbiz last weekend.
Wontumi, in an interview on Metro TV’s Good Evening Ghana, declared that the case is in court and that’s the only way it can be solved at this moment.
He was reacting after being asked about UTV officially apologising to him, but his answer equally applies to his alleged ex-girlfriend McBrown as well.
Chairman Wontumi has so far sued Afia Schwarzenegger, Despite Media, Fadda Dickson, Kwame A Plus, and Mr Logic for contempt over comments they made against him during UTV’s United Showbiz program aired on Saturday, July 9, 2022.
It has been alleged that Mcbrown had called Wontumi to apologise to him personally.
Asked about it by Paul Adom-Otchere on Good Evening Ghana, Wontumi refused to accept the apology but only said the case is being handled in court.
