Ghanaian songwriter and musician, Martin King Arthur, popularly known as Kofi Kinaata, has won the Songwriter of the Year award at this year’s edition of the prestigious Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
He won the award with his song ‘Behind The Scenes’. Kofi Kinaata beat competition from Diana Hamilton, Adina, Joe Mettle, Abiana and Epixode to win the award.
Kofi Kinaata has become the first artiste to win the award four times after winning the award in 2016 with the song Susuka released in October 2015.
Reacting to this win, the ‘Thy Grace‘ wrote on Twitter:
