Liverpool forward and Senegalese international Sadia Mane has tested positive for Coronavirus and is self-isolating.
The news comes three days after the club said midfielder Thiago Alcantara had also tested positive for Covid-19.
A statement released by the club on it’s official website said:
“The forward, who started and scored in Monday’s 3-1 victory over Arsenal, has displayed minor symptoms of the virus but feels in good health overall.”
Mane, 28, and Thiago Alcantara are both following all protocols relating to COVID-19 and said to be in self-isolation for the required period of time.
