Porshia Lamptey, mother of Ghana’s fastest-rising rapper Medikal has narrated her ordeal she went through before his son could complete Senior High School.
In an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak show with Andy Dosty, she revealed that Medikal was her headache when he (Medikal) was a student of Odorgono Senior High School.
She explained that her son was expelled from school on two occasions and what she could only do to save him was to sweep the headmaster’s office.
According to her, she didn’t sweep only the headmaster’s office, she swept all other office in the school premises.
When asked why her son was dismissed, she stated that the school authorities claimed Medikal was a bad influence to the student.
She added that Medikal was always rapping on campus thus skipping class hours which made some his colleagues also join him.
