A member of the National Democratic Congress’ [NDC] legal team, Abraham Amaliba, has said he will never join the New Patriotic Party [NPP] irrespective of what the party will achieve under President Akufo-Addo.

He said, “I will rather join Al-Qaeda than the NPP.”

Mr Amaliba said the NPP Government under President Nana Akufo-Addo has resorted to public deception by claiming that his government is delivering on their promises.

Speaking on Citi TV’s Breakfast Daily Show monitored by Airnewsonline.com, he said: “This is not a President you can trust because already he has not been able to provide for his promises and it makes it difficult for anyone to trust him.”

“He said by the end of this year the Kumasi road would be improved. I ply the Kumasi road a lot to the North, I hope you will invite me by the end of this year, so I come here and have a chat about the road”.

Mr. Gary Nimako a member of the NPP legal team who was on the show refuted Mr. Amaliba’s assertions saying his assessment of the government was premature.

He said a proper assessment of government could only be made after the NPP’s four-year term in office.
