As Wimbledon is coming to an end this weekend, Google which is known to hide secret games in its various apps and software is offering a new Easter Egg in the form of a tennis game.
Playing this game is cute and fun and can be played on your computer or phone. You just have to move your character left or right to intercept the tennis ball.
To find the tennis game, type “Wimbledon” on Google search. When the scoreboard appears, just scroll to the far right section of the scoring widget.
Next to the “Mixed Doubles” tab, you will find a green coloured tennis ball icon. Clicking on it will launch the tennis game on the search results page.
How to play Google’s hidden Wimbledon game
The player can be controlled by using the left and right arrow keys if you are playing on a desktop.
Those who are playing on smartphones need to tap on the left and right side of the screen to control the player. The goal is to simply position the player in front of the ball and the player will hit the ball automatically.
The game speeds up as you get more points, so by the time your score is 10 or more, it’ll be quite a frantic match. You might not notice this at first, but it’s worth remembering as the game goes on.
Good luck with getting the highest score!
