Barcelona looks set to sack its head coach Quique Setién after they were humiliated by Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-final clash tonight.
It is believed the Spanish giants have already found Setién’s successor.
The 61-year-old coach took over the managerial role from Ernesto Valverde in January but his performances have not impressed the club’s management.
Barcelona abysmally lost 8-2 to Bayern Munich in Lisbon with Thomas Muller and Philippe Coutinho scoring braces. Others in the score sheet include Ivan Perisic, Serge Gnabry, Joshua Kimmich and Robert Lewandowski.
According to Italian sports writer Fabrizio Romano, the club chiefs have ‘already decided’ to axe Quique Setién after tonight’s flattering. He tweeted:
”Barcelona have already decided to sack Quique Setién after the terrible defeat against Bayern Münich. He’ll not be the manager on next season.”
