Ghanaian musician Nhyiraba Kojo has charged musicians to give a percentage of the amount they charge for shows to Shatta Wale if the value exceeds Fifty Thousand cedis.

“Shatta Wale deserves a cut from any Ghanaian artiste who charges over 50K for an event”, he stated.

In an interview on Zylofon 102.1 FM’s Showbiz Agenda with the host, Sammy Flex, Nhyiraba surmised that Shatta Wale has set a benchmark for all Ghanaian artistes.

He asserted, “Now because of Shatta Wale, artistes can charge huge sums of money for a performance.”

By threatening on several occasions not to perform on any stage for an entire year if the standards are not raised, Shatta Wale, according to Nhyiraba Kojo has become a pacesetter in improving the standards in the industry.

Nhyiraba Kojo commended the CEO of the Shatta Movement on his effort to raising the bar for artistes and helping them, explore the business aspects of their craft.
