Nana Hesse Ogyiri, a Presidential Staffer at the Office of the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has said ace investigative journalist Anas Armeyaw Anas has no credibility.
His comments follow disclaimers from leading figures of the New Patriotic Party, including Majority Leader Kyei Mensah Bonsu and Alex Afenyo Markin who have said that the Akufo-Addo government has no interest in the Kennedy Agyapong- Anas Aremeyaw Anas feud, adding that Ken Agyapong is a lone ranger pursuing his own ends.
Nana Hesse Ogyiri, one of the 998 Presidential Staffers operating from the Office of the President, however, says “Anas has no credibility” and no one should take him ‘serious’.
Writing on social media platform Facebook in reaction to interviews being conducted by Anas Armeyaw Anas in the wake of the premiering of Kennedy Agyapong’s ‘Who Watches the Watchman’ video, Staffer Ogyiri said Anas shouldn’t be taken seriously.
Anas Aremeyaw Anas recently released an investigative exposé on Ghana Football in which President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia were said to be ‘buyable’ with $5m and $3m respectively. Embattled GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi has since apologized for his personal indiscretion.
Kwesi Nyantakyi has been handed a 90-day ban by Fifa Ethics Committee.
