Mrs. Christine-Marie Nyantakyi, the wife of the former embattled president of the Ghana Football Association, Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi, has donated some items to the Eye of the Lord Orphanage Home as part of her many benevolent moves.
A photo of the donated items was spotted by Airnewsonline which were sighted on Ameyawdebrah.com and has since started going viral on social media.
After the donation, Mr. Samuel Kwapong Darko, founder of Eye of the Lord Orphanage Home and a popular guest of Vision One morning show, pleaded with Ghanaians to minimize the insults and stop being judgmental on the former GFA boss over Anas’ “Number 12.”
He revealed that he (Darko) could not get the opportunity to watch the investigative piece due to his visual impairment. He, however, went on to advise those who have watched it to try to “identify that good thing” despite the gravity of the exposé.
In an interview with him this morning at the orphanage home in Nsawam, Mr. Darko revealed how helpful Mrs Christine-Marie Nyantakyi has being to his orphanage in the past years.
Mr. Samuel Kwapong Darko also revealed how the support from Mrs. Christine-Marie Nyantakyi has been pivotal to the smooth running of the orphanage.
According to the founder of the orphanage, Mrs. Nyantakyi visited the orphanage in March during her birthday and gave out cash as well as assorted items to help in the running of the orphanage.
The recent donation of the items made it the second time she was visiting that particular orphanage.
Mrs Christine-Marie Nyantakyi, despite all the heat that has been brought upon her husband by award-winning journalist Anas, she continues to embark on her many charity works.
Mr. Samuel Kwapong Darko in his comments revealed that Nyantakyi’s wife was a very good woman and asked the public not to ridicule her or her family in these trying times.
Mrs. Nyantakyi after making the donation refused to grant any interview but hinted that they were soon going to organize a press conference to outline a number of things.
