According to Mr Rawlings, by the time he opened his eyes, the whole land had been looted and shared by NDC Executives among themselves, under the administration of Mr John Mahama, whom Rawlings called “that rogue”.

“… Before I realized, some party executives had shared the land among themselves.”, he said with pain.

Mr Rawlings who is credited for fighting and conquering the six childhood killer diseases through his personal example of swallowing the vaccine in front of rural communities who were skeptical about it- which killed thousands of children; he is credited with the building of many hospitals and extending electricity to thousands of rural and urban communities, laying hundreds of railway lines as well as building thousands of roads and schools including Polytechnics and training colleges said Volta Region could have gotten more than it has.
