Ghanaian gospel musician, Diana Hamilton has been crowned Artiste Of The Year at the 22nd Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).
She also won the Most Popular Song of the Year award with her hit song ‘Adom’.
VGMA22, which was held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Saturday, June 26, saw the opening performances from Diana Hamilton and Joe Mettle with a rendition of their hit songs.
The ‘Adom’ hitmaker in her speech, expressed her gratitude to her fans, family, Team DH, The Church of Pentecost among others.
Diana makes history as the first female gospel singer to win the big award and the second female artist to do so.
Other awards winners of the night include KiDi, Yaw Tog, Medikal, Sarkodie, Eno Barony, among others.
