Ghana’s Dancehall musician Charles Nii Amarh Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has spoken for the first time after he was granted a GH¢100,000 self-recognizance bail.
Shatta Wale was remanded in Ankaful Prison after he was arrested by the police for faking his gunshot incident on October 19, 2021.
His co-conspirators, Kojo Owusu Koranteng, Idris Yusif, and Eric Venator, have also been granted bail.
After his release today, the ‘Taking Over‘ hitmaker was seen in a video going wash himself at the beach with Medikal. He was heard saying: “We thank Allah for everything, we thank Allah for bringing me out. shout out to everybody that has supported me and I want to say God is alive bro”
In another video, he was seen in a car having a fun time with his P.A, Nana Dope and fellow musician Gambo.
Out of excitement, he gave thanks to God as he said anyone who disagrees with God’s existence doesn’t have sense. “Anyone who says God no dey, no get sense”, Shatta Wale said in the car amidst jubilation over his bail.
