The management of Sarkodie‘s record label, SarkCess Music has denied the death of the decorated rapper after a Youtube channel Agyaadu TV made a publication on Friday, January 22, 2021, stating that the rapper had died in an accident in the USA.
The statement released by SarkCess Music states clearly the rapper is ‘alive and currently working on ongoing music projects’.
SarkCess Music has therefore urged the general public to disregard the news. The group has also called on Agyaadu TV and all other blogs sharing the news to desist from sharing it.

“Sarkcess Music by this press release states on record that Rapper Micheal Owusu Addo famed Sarkodie is not dead. Contrary to ongoing circulations and publications, Sarkodie is alive and currently working on ongoing music projects.
The general public is advised to ignore all trending circulations about the death of the artiste as it holds no truth.
Sarkcess Music entreats all parties involved, to stop the spread of this false news with immediate effect.
