The head coach of the Ghana Black Stars, Otto Addo will name his final 26-man squad on deadline day Monday, November 14 at 11 am.
Unfortunately, goalkeepers Richard Ofori and Jojo Wollacot have suffered injuries and both are likely to miss the Mondial in Qatar with just seven (7) days to go.
With these injuries, Belgian-based goalkeeper Abdul Manaf Nurudeen will be Ghana’s number 1 goalkeeper at the tournament.
Manaf Nurudeen, who has been outstanding for Belgian side Eupen, will seize the opportunity as Ghana’s new number one at the World Cup.
Black Stars captain Andre Ayew has already arrived in Abu Dhabi ahead of the pre-World Cup friendly against Switzerland on Thursday.
Ghana begin their World Cup campaign against Portugal on November 24, before facing South Korea four days later and concluding the group stage against Uruguay on December 2.
