Editor in Chief of the insight Newspaper Kwesi Pratt has argued that ex-president Rawlings is not the founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and quizzed why the NDC made him its founder.
According to Kwesi Pratt, other people also contributed to the establishment of the NDC as well.
Mr Pratt further argued that there are other peoples toil and sweat that helped established the NDC but have been relegated to the background and forgotten.
Speaking on Peace FM ‘s ”kokrokoo,” he chastised ex-President Rawlings making himself the hero of NDC reminding him of those struggled to release him from jail to eventually lead and become the former president he is today.
Pratt’s criticism is based on the recent commemoration of June 4 by the NDC which ended up with a lot of drama after National Vice-chair of the NDC Madam Anita Desoso pleaded for forgiveness from Former President Rawlings if the NDC executive have hurt him in any way sparking a public debate.
