Francis Asenso-Boakye has floored the incumbent Member of Parliament for Bantama Constituency, Daniel Okyem Aboagye in the NPP primaries held today June 20, 2020.
Asenso-Boakye, who is a deputy Chief of Staff at the presidency won comfortably with 456 votes as against 122 by the incumbent Daniel Okyem Aboagye.
He won all nine electoral areas in the Constituency.
In a victory speech, Asenso-Boakye expressed appreciation to the delegates for electing him.
He also thanked President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for appointing him to serve in his administration, which he said had brought a lot of blessing to him and his family.
