About a month ago, lawyers for Kojo Forex issued a strongly-worded letter to Bongo Ideas for persistently spreading lies and falsehoods about their client.

In the amended lawsuit today filed in Accra High Court, Kojo Forex claims Bongo Ideas published “disparaging and defamatory statements” about him on Twitter.

Read some of the defamatory tweets Bongo Ideas made about the forex trader on Twitter:

”I hate to give FX fraudsters like @KojoForex a bite of my so-called ‘ill-gotten clout’. But a Ponzi-schemer who steals from people & comes online to proudly show off deserves some hooting. Pay the people you’ve defrauded first, & let’s see if I could consider you for a beefing.”

Another tweet read: ”The FX thingy is just a small part of the secretive online business empire (I will explain later) he runs. His profits from FX, as he makes it…are from his numerous students…As for his illicit online money-making empire…that’s episodes are loading.”

Kojo Forex is seeking damages, a retraction and apology from Bongo Ideas, and a court order restraining him from further defamatory comments.

Sharing the writ on Twitter, Kojo wrote: ”@BongoIdeas SEE YOU IN COURT!!
