Ghana’s fast-rising artiste, Mohammed Ismail Sherif, widely known as Black Sherif has affirmed that he doesn’t smoke marijuana, despite the talks about smoking in his music.
According to him, anytime he talks about smoking in his songs, he only means he is “burning” the beat he’s on.
Speaking in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM on Thursday, Black Sherif said he does not smoke nor does he endorse smoking it.
“I don’t endorse marijuana. I don’t smoke marijuana”
“I don’t smoke. And I am not telling anyone to do it. When I talk about smoking, it’s actually about smoking the beat. We are burning the beat. Na ayɛ shishiishi (sic),” he explained.
The ‘Second Sermon’ crooner is currently topping charts worldwide he releasing his latest single ‘Kwaku The Traveller’.
