Highlife Legend, Rex Omar has praised dancehall artiste Shatta Wale on his new music video, Gringo released recently. Gringo is currently number 5 and climbing on iTunes Top 100 Reggae Charts worldwide.
Gringo has received positive reviews on social media with the likes of Obrafour, Edem, Sarkodie, among others, giving a thumbs up to the much-anticipated video.
However, others have criticised the ‘Dancehall King’ for shooting a 7-minute video which does not relate to its lyrical content.
But Rex Omar took to Facebook and wrote: “Gringo is a real dance hall tune and the video is world class.”
The video was directed by internationally-recognized UK-based Nigerian video producer, director and 3D Animator Sesan, for Film Factory and produced by David Nguyen.
