Ebo Noah arrested over false flood prophecy

Ebo Noah arrested

The Ghana Police Service has arrested self-styled Prophet Ebo Noah over his claims of a predicted global flood on 25th December 2025 that caused widespread fear and panic.

According to reports, Ebo Noah, also known as Evans Eshun, was apprehended by the GPS Special Cyber Vetting Team on December 31, 2025, after his false claims of a global flood.

Ebo Noah became a social media sensation in August 2025 after claiming he had received a divine instruction to build ten modern-day arks to save people from a three-year global flood.

For months, he shared videos on social media showing the construction of wooden structures, which he described as arks. He claimed they were the only means of survival for those who believed his message.

When his prophecy about the flood didn’t happen on 25th December, he released another video claiming that his intercession and three-week fast had persuaded God to “postpone” the destruction.

Social media again went ablaze after the self-acclaimed Prophet appeared on stage at rapper Sarkodie’s ‘Rapperholic 2025‘ concert.

Dressed in his usual sackclothes, he urged thousands of fans to “party” because the doom had been postponed. This triggered strong backlash on social media, with many accusing him of causing fear and panic and calling for his arrest.

A photo of the arrest, which has gone viral, shows the 30-year-old in handcuffs at what looks like a police facility.
