Connor McGregor has announced a retirement from Mixed Martial Art UFC. The Irish fighter made this known on social media where he wished all his colleagues who are still in the competition well.
Connor McGregor exits the sport with a 21-4-0 record, and UFC belts in two divisions.
He tweeted:
Hey guys quick announcement, I’ve decided to retire from the sport formally known as “Mixed Martial Art” today.
I wish all my old colleagues well going forward in competition.
I now join my former partners on this venture, already in retirement.

McGregor is currently ranked 8th on the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) pound-for-pound list.
