Ashanti Regional Minister commiserates with Lilwin’s PRO after mother’s demise

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene, expressed his condolences to Okyeame Akwaada Nyame following the passing of his mother, Madam Sophia Adwoa Serwaa.

Madam Adwoa Serwaa, who died at the age of 65, was a renowned woman in the Ashanti Region recognised for her charitable efforts.

Her funeral, held at the Pankrono Community Centre, drew well-known figures, particularly from the arts and entertainment industry.

Dr. Amoakohene was among the significant persons who attended the funeral, offering his support to the Wezzy Empire family and sympathies on their loss.

The minister’s efforts demonstrate not only personal compassion, but also a knowledge of the emotional toll such a loss can have on individuals and their families.

Other celebrities, such as musician Broda Sammy, Naa Jackie, and Jude, were there to comfort them during these trying times.

Lilwin in a social media post expressed gratitude to the Minister for showing his support to his PRO and the entire Weezy Empire family.

“Thank you for being a pillar of strength during our time of grief, Honourable Minister Dr Frank Amoakohene. Your words of comfort brought solace to our hearts. Your kindness is rare. Nyame Nhiyra wo,”

A vigil was held last Friday in honour of Madam Adowa Serwa, where family, friends, and community members gathered to pay their respects and celebrate her life.

There was always a Thanksgiving service at the Old Tafo Methodist Church after she was finally laid to rest in an atmosphere of reflection and gratitude to all who supported the funeral.
