MP for Dome-Kwabenya Sarah Adwoa Safo has been trending in the news after she was seen jamming to KiDi‘s song Say You Love Me in a video on social media.
The Gender Minister has been absent from parliament for some weeks now but has been captured dancing her hearts out.
Hon. Kennedy Agyapong in an interview on GTV’s Breakfast Show this morning slammed Adwoa Safo for refusing to vote in favour of the controversial E-levy hence holding the majority in parliament. According to the Assin Central MP, the MP for Dome-Kwabenya is holding the government to ransom for her purported request to be made the Deputy Majority Leader.
He said: “She is saying she wants to be a deputy Majority Leader. That woman has failed in life. A whole cabinet minister [for Gender, Children and Social Protection] now demanding that she should be made a deputy Majority Leader before she comes [to Parliament].”
People are insulting me because of Adwoa Safo’s behaviour. She used my children to get me to go and campaign for her in the last elections and now she’s not coming to parliament but sitting on TikTok dancing, he added.

Adwoa Safo has dropped another TikTok video to subtly jabbed Kennedy over his attack on her.
In the video, she revealed she shall always be the head but never the tail.
