Ghana’s fastest-rising superstar Black Sherif has been crowned Artiste of the Year at the just-ended 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The event, which was held on Saturday, May 6, took place at the Grand Arena Dome in Accra.
The event saw performances from DSL, Lasmid, Camidoh, King Promise, Medikal, Gyakie, Black Sheriff, Piesie Esther, Sarkodie, and many others.
Black Sherif, born Mohammed Ismail Sharrif, was able to fend off competition from Piesie Esther, Sarkodie, King Promise, Camidoh, Kidi and Joe Mettle to win the prestigious award.
Other award winners on the night included Piesie Esther, Perez Muzik, Camidoh, and Epixode.
Others were Kelvyn Boy, King Promise, Kofi Kinaata, MOG Beatz, Lasmid and many more.
