Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo, who signed for Juventus on Tuesday, will wear the number 7 shirt during his stay in Italy. This number belonged to Colombian international Juan Cuadrado for the previous two seasons.
Juventus, who paid Real Madrid €112m to sign Ronaldo, announced his arrival on their website writing “Cri7tiano”, substituting the letter ‘s’ for ‘7’.

The announcement from Juventus suggests that the Portuguese star man will continue to wear the number that he did at both Manchester United and Real Madrid.
This the same number which has seen him win five Champions League titles and five Balon d’Ors.
This means that Cuadrado will lose the number 7 shirt he’s worn for the past two seasons and could return to ’16’, which is the number he wore when he first arrived at Juventus.
