Ghanaian movie producer, Danfo B.A, real name Kwaku Boakye, has reportedly passed on. He died in the early hours of Sunday, October 14, 2018, at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
According to a family source who confirmed the news to Peacefmonline.com, Danfo B.A has been sick for almost a year now and had been moving from one health facility to the other but he finally gave up the ghost on Sunday morning.
He left behind a wife and three children but he had a lot of adopted children who he took care of.
Danfo B.A is known for producing the popular local Akan Ghanaian movie “Kyeiwaa” which ran from Part One to 14 and made Akua Ataa, a household name. Her real name has almost disappeared with everyone calling her Kyeiwaa.
He later set up a school to give less privileged children the opportunity to access quality education.
