American female rapper Cardi B will sit for a deposition in March 2019 to testify about her legal battle with her ex-manager, Shaft.
Shaft sued her in April for $10 million, claiming he made her the star she is today, before she cut him off financially.
Cardi B has also fired back to the ex-manager’s claims with a countersuit of her own.
She sued Shaft for $15m and claimed that he was far too controlling of her career and her personal life, including her relationship with Offset.
According to TMZ, Cardi B has been ordered to sit down for a deposition with Shaft’s attorney on March 19th.
She is set to testify against Shaft about her legal battle with him.
The court previously allowed Cardi to push her deposition back due to her pregnancy, but now that she’s given birth to her daughter Kulture, Shaft’s legal team has demanded that she be deposed over the lawsuit.
Offset is likely to sit down a deposition in the case. Cardi previously alleged that Shaft attempted to get in the middle of her relationship with the Migos rapper.
Offset hasn’t received a deposition date, but according to sources, it’s likely that it will land before April 2nd.
